FRCC’s Farmington River Quilt Project is on display at New Hartford Town Hall during the month of April.  The FRCC is proud to present this fabulous quilt which consists of 25 individual panels which together form a continuous view of the Farmington River.  Each section is 21″ high by 24″ wide, though the tree line and sky change from section to section to show each area, the river runs smoothly uniting the sections into one continuous quilt.  Along the quilt you can see the wildlife, deer, bear, eagles, herons and ducks that live by the river as well as the fishermen, kayakers, campers, and tubers who come to the river to enjoy the peace, beauty and sometimes the wild ride it provides.  The panels are located on the 2nd floor – main level (street level) of the Town Hall. Start at panel 1 and follow the river as it winds through the hallway and ends in the main foyer.
